President Joko Widodo leads OIC Extraordinary Summit (7/3) at JCC, Jakarta

Indonesia will soon open an Honorary Consulate in Palestine.

“Welcome to Indonesia, a beautiful country with the biggest muslim population in the world and the world’s third largest democracy. A country that will soon open an Honorary Consulate in Palestine,” President Joko Widodo said when officially opening the Extraordinary OIC Summit at Jakarta Convention Center, on Monday (7/3) morning.

The President appoints Maha Abou Susheh as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia to Palestine.

“Please allow me to announce Indonesia has appointed Mrs. Maha Abou Susheh as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia to Palestine,” the Presiden said before the delegations of the Summit that discussed Palestine’s independence and the issues of Al-Quds Al-Sharif

The President affirmed that the Indonesian Consulate is established in Ramallah and will be soon inaugurated. (DND/UN) (MMB/YM/Naster)
