President Joko Widodo Briefs KAPOLRES All Over Indonesia in Semarang

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to visit Semarang on Tuesday (2/12) to brief 32 KAPOLDA and 452 KAPOLRES all over Indonesia, at Police Academy.

Previously, on Friday (29/11) President Jokowi briefed PANGKOTAMA of TNI all over Indonesia at Garuda room, at Bogor Palace. President asks TNI and Police to have regular meeting. In Semarang, President Jokowi would do inspection to Tanjung Emas port and fisherman village Tambak Lorok. “I would take Mr.Jokowi to see condition of Tanjung Emas, Semarang”, said the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, on Monday (1/12).

Ganjar adds that he ask for support from President Jokowi related to development program of Tanjung Emas Semarang in order to make the port to be able to compete with other ports such as Tanjung Perak in Surabaya. Currently, Tanjung Emas is too narrow to facilitate loading and unloading goods. It needs development. “We would invite Pelindo III Tanjung Emas so they could explain the development concept of the port”, Ganjar said.

Commercial Flight     

President Jokowi is scheduled to depart at 07:55 AM from Soekarno – Hatta airport, with Garuda Indonesia GA232. Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjajanto says the President takes commercial flight and only accompanied by small delegation consists of 15 people including Cabinet Secretary, staff of protocol and PASPAMPRES.
