President Joko Widodo Distributes KIS, KIP, KKS and KASPDB in Bali
President Joko Jokowi Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Ibu Iriana Widodo, on Sunday (30/8) visited Bali on a working visit to distribute the Indonesian Health Card (KIS), Indonesian Smart Card (KIP), Prosperous Family Card (KKS) and the Social Assistancy Card for Severely Disabled People (KASPDB) ina field in Tulikup Village, Gianyar Regency.
At least 1,565 KIS, 376 KKS, 393 KIP, and 31 KASPDB were distributed and the President himself symbolically handed 33 of those cards to the residents.
In his remarks, President Joko Widodo said that those cards must be used for the useful purposes.
If it used against the intended purposes, we will revoke the ownership, the President said while giving an example that the card will be annulled if, for example, the fundsare used to top up cell phones balance.
Meanwhile, report from the Ministry of Social Affairs said that Gianyar Regency is the 31st location of the distribution of the cards.
Accompanying President Widodo and First Lady Iriana in the event were National Police Chief (Kapolri) Gen. Badrodin Haiti, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Managing Director of Social Security Provider Body for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) Fahmi Idris, Bali GovernorI Made Mangku Pastika, Gianyar Regent Anak Agung Gde Agung Bharata, Coordinating Forum of Bali Province and hundreds of Gianyar residents.
For the record, in his working visit to Bali, the President was also scheduled to openthe President’s Cup Football Tournament in Kapten I Wayan Stadiumin Gianyar on Sunday (30/8) afternoon. (ES) (RA/Ers/Yu-Naster/Sy).
