President Joko Widodo, First Lady Wraps Up China Visit
After a two-day working visit to China, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi Saturday (07/29) arrived at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase at about 03.55 Western Indonesia Time aboard Presidential Airplane Indonesia-1.
Upon arrival, the President and the First Lady were welcomed by high-level officials, including Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Chief of the Indonesian Defense Force Admiral Yudo Margono, Chief of the Indonesian National Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Jakarta acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono.
During his visit to China, President Jokowi carried out some activities, including having a bilateral meeting with President Xi Jinping, having a meeting with CEOs of China’s companies, and attending the inauguration of Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games.
