President Joko Widodo to Meet President Xi Jinping and Visit Alibaba Group

After six hours flight from Jakarta, Indonesian Presidential Aircraft that brought President Joko Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo landed at Xiaoshan Hangzhou International Airport, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), on Friday (2/9) at 1.15 p.m. local time or 12.15 p.m. Western Indonesia Time.

The arrival of the President and his entourage was directly welcomed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the PRC Sugeng Rahardjo and his spouse, Deputy Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Wang Jianman, and Deputy Governor of Hangzhou He Guanxia.

Before passing by the guard of honor, the President received a flower bouquet from the PRC’s children. From the airport, the President and Ibu Iriana as well as the entourage headed to the hotel where they will stay during the visit to Hangzhou.

In his visit to the PRC to attend the G-20 Summit, President Joko Widodo is scheduled to have a bilateral meeting with the President of the PRC Xi Jinping at West Lake State Guest House.

Afterwards, the President and his entourage is going to visit Alibaba Group Corporate Campus and to meet the Founder of Alibaba Group Jack Ma. On that occasion, the President is scheduled to take a look at products portfolio and also the environment of Alibaba Group’s office.(DID/Setpres/ES)(MMB/YM/Naster)
