President Jokowi: All Leaders Work Together to Develop Indonesia

All leaders in Indonesia work together to develop the country, according to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.

The President made the statement on Tuesday (06/20) in response to a journalist’s question about the dream of the sixth Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) after inspecting the smelter construction project of state-owned mining company PT Freeport Indonesia in Gresik regency, East Java province.

SBY has previously shared that he had a dream that he, President Jokowi, and the fifth Indonesian president Megawati Soekarnoputri took a train ride together from Gambir Station in Jakarta to Central Java and East Java provinces.

According to SBY, in his dream, the tickets were prepared by the eighth Indonesian president or president-elect in 2024.

In this regard, President Jokowi gave a positive response by saying that the dream meant that all leaders in this country join hands to develop Indonesia, adding that it is a dream that all Indonesian people want to achieve.
