President Joko Jokowi Widodo accompanied by First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo had dinner with the leaders of APEC member countries at Kutubu Convention Center, Port Moresby, Saturday (17/11). All guests wore red or yellow outfit as the dress code of the event.
The heads of state / heads of government were welcomed by Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Peter ONeill in front of Hilton Hotel, then proceeded to take a group photo.
On the occasion, PM Peter O’Neill said that he warmly welcomed all the delegates, especially those who come to Papua New Guinea for the first time. He also said that APEC is an important and dynamic forum.
APEC is not only about economy or trade and investment. APEC is more about the standard of living of our people, PM ONeill said. (BPMI / EN)
