President Jokowi Appreciates Works of Presidential Advisory Board

Members of the Presidential Advisory Board (Wantimpres), who will end their term of office, met President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, (16/10).

“This is the end of our duty. We report to him on our accountability in carrying on the task during the past 5 years,” Head of the Presidential Advisory Board Sri Adiningsih told reporters after the meeting.

On the occasion, members of the Presidential Advisory Board bid their goodbye to President Jokowi and congratulated him for his second term.

President Jokowi, according to Sri Adiningsih, appreciated the works of the Presidential Advisory Board, in the form of direct, indirect, individual, and collective advice, as well as various other activities.

“Earlier, he (the President) said that the inputs provided have strengthened and became one of the inputs for the President in making various important policy decisions in economic, social, political, cultural, defense, and security sectors,” Sri Adiningsih concluded. (MAY/JAY/ES)
