President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has arrived in Indonesia after a week-long overseas working visit.

After eight-hour flight from Dubai, the Garuda Indonesia plane carrying the President and his entourage landed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Friday (11/05) at around 08.30 Western Indonesia Time.

Due to health protocols applied for any traveler returning to Indonesia after visiting other countries, there was no welcoming ceremony for the President.

From the airport, the President and the entourage directly headed to the self-quarantine area at the Bogor Presidential Palace. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RI/LW)
