President Jokowi Arrives in Munich, Germany
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi, and the entourage arrived in Munich International Airport, Germany, for a working visit.
Upon his arrival at 18.40 local time, the President and the First Lady were welcomed by State Minister for European and International Affairs of the Government of Bavaria Melanie Huml, Indonesian Ambassador to Germany Arif Havas Oegrosen, and Defense Attaché Col. Budi Wibowo.
The President was also greeted by hundreds of Indonesians living in Germany on his way to the hotel. He then took his time to get out of the car and greeted them directly.
For the record, the President is slated to attend the G7 Summit taking place at Schloss Elmau Castle on Monday. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RAS/MUR)
