President Jokowi Arrives in Philippines for Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and his entourage on Tuesday (01/09) arrived at Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Manila, the Philippines, after a four-hour flight.

The Indonesia-1 Presidential Plane carrying President Jokowi and the entourage landed at 20.05 local time or 19.05 Western Indonesia Time.

In the Philippines, President Jokowi is slated to attend several meetings, including a bilateral meeting with the President of the Philippines Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. at Malacanang Palace.

Besides the meeting with President Marcos Jr., President Jokowi is also scheduled to visit the factory owned by Kopiko Philippines Corporation, an Indonesian Company, in Calamba City.

Afterward, President Jokowi and the entourage will return to Manila to inspect the W Hydrocolloids Inc. factory. After completing the inspection, President Jokowi will return to the hotel in Manila before continuing his working visit tomorrow. (BPMI SETPRES/UN) (RI/LW)
