President Jokowi Arrives in San Francisco for APEC Summit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (14/11) arrived in San Francisco, the United States to attend APEC Summit.

President Jokowi took off from Andrews Air Force Base after attending a bilateral meeting with President of the United States of America Joe Biden in Washington, D.C.

Upon arrival at San Francisco International Airport, California, the United States, the President was welcomed by Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indonesian Embassy in Washington Sade Bimantara, Defense Attaché Tjahya Elang Migdiawan, and Assistant Chief of Protocol for Diplomatic Affairs of the United States Nan Kennelly.

Afterwards, the President and his entourage headed to the hotel where they would be staying during the visit.

President Jokowi is slated to attend the APEC Summit and have bilateral meetings with leaders of APEC member countries. In addition, he is also scheduled to give a public lecture at Stanford University. (BPMI SETPRES/UN) (RAS/MUR)
