President Jokowi Attends 2018 Centralized Briefing for Commanders in Bandung

On Monday (26/11, )President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo, on Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1, departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Bandung, West Java, to conduct a working visit.

Upon his arrival at Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung, West Java Province at 09.15 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, President Jokowi was welcomed by Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, Siliwangi Military Commander Maj. Gen. Besar Harto Karyawan, and West Java Police Chief Insp. Gen. Agung Budi Maryoto.

The President and his entourage then headed to Infantry Branch Center (Pussenif), Education and Training Development Command of the Army (TNI AD) to give directives to participants of the 2018 Centralized Briefing for Commanders of Military Region Command (Danrem) and Commanders of Military District Command (Dandim).

After the visit, the President is slated to return to Jakarta in the afternoon. Also accompanying President Jokowi in the event were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Presidential Special Staff member Ari Dwipayana.
