President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Monday (4/6) attended an iftar (communal break-fasting) with members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) at Dian Ballroom Raffles Hotel, Karet Kuningan, South Jakarta.

The President arrived at the Ballroom accompanied by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Darmin Nasution and Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukita.

On that occasion, one guest named Jubaidi from Yogyakarta shook hands and took pictures with the President. Jubaidi is a janitor who found Rp 20 million in a trash bin. Instead of taking the money for himself, he reported his findings to the police officer and gave the money back to the owner. Thanks to this, Jubaidi was invited to the event.

In the meantime, Chairman of KADIN Rosan P. Roeslani in his remarks said that Jubaidi is an honest and faithful man.

President Jokowi also took a picture together with the Chairman and Vice Chairman of KADIN, family members of KADIN and 150 children from Bamadita Rahman Foundation, Jakarta. After that, President Jokowi left the event and continued his schedule to attend the Nuzulul Quran ceremony at the State Palace. (FID/OJI/ES) (STU/EP/Naster)
