President Jokowi Attends Luncheon Hosted by Australian Governor-General
After the meeting with Governor-General of Australia David Hurley, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (07/04) was invited to take a backyard tour of Admiralty House, Sydney, by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
The two leaders had a warm conversation and took a picture together during the rain-covered tour.
After the tour, President Jokowi and PM Albanese immediately returned to Admiralty House to attend the luncheon with Governor-General Hurley.
Governor-General Hurley in his remarks stated that President Jokowi’s visit to Australia is evidence of close relations between Indonesia and Australia.
“This fourth visit of yours is a clear proof of how close the friendship between our two nations is,” the Governor-General said.
Governor-General Hurley went on to say that the cooperation and friendship between Indonesia and Australia will continue to grow stronger.
