President Jokowi Begins Aceh Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (06/27) is headed to Aceh province for a working visit.

The President and his entourage left the province through Halim Perdanakusuma air base in East Jakarta on board Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 at around 06.40 Western Indonesian Time.

Upon arriving at Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport in Aceh Besar regency, President Jokowi boarded Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter to continue the trip to Pidie regency, where he is scheduled to launch the program of recommendation implementation of non-judicial settlements of gross violations of human rights held at Rumah Geudong in the regency.

In the afternoon, President Jokowi is scheduled to return to Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport to return to Jakarta. (Bureau of Press, Media, and Information of Presidential Secretariat/UN)(AW/EP)
