President Jokowi Begins Working Visit to Brussels

On the second day of his working visit to Brussels, Belgium, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo (12/14) is scheduled to attend the 45th anniversary of the ASEAN-EU relations and several other meetings.
To start his working visit, the President is slated to hold a meeting with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and visit the Castle of Laeken to have a meeting with Belgian King.
In the afternoon, the President will head to the Europa Building to attend a series of activities during ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit, including a welcoming ceremony, opening session, group photo session, and a meeting session.
Afterwards, the Head of State is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several European Union leaders.
To conclude his working visit, the President and the First Lady will attend a state banquet in the evening at the Musée Royal de Beaux-Arts before returning to Abelag Airport to head back to Indonesia. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RIF/MUR)
