President Jokowi Calls on Taruna Nusantara Students to Combat Hoaxes

President Joko Jokowi Widodo called on Taruna Nusantara students to fight against hoaxes and slanders circulated on social media.
“Dont be afraid to tell the truth,” the President said in his remarks during his meeting with students of Taruna Nusantara Senior High School at Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Monday (4/3).
Indonesia is a big, diverse country. God bless Indonesia with diversity. It is already a sunnatullah (Gods law) that God has given us, the Indonesian people,” the President added.
President Jokowi went on to say that different political choices in local, regional and Presidential elections should not affect national solidarity.
(Do not let) presidential election or regional elections divide us because those elections are regular events that occur once in five years, he said, adding that the most important assets of the nation are unity, harmony and brotherhood among its citizen. (GUN/AGG/ES)
