President Jokowi Distributes Social Assistance at Cirebon’s Harjamukti Market

As part of his working visit in West Java province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo (04/13) distributed social assistance at Harjamukti traditional market in the West Java coastal city of Cirebon, Wednesday (04/13).

The assistance includes Working Capital Assistance (BMK) and Cooking Oil Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) to the participants of the Family Hope Program (PKH).

According to the President, the assistance can be used as business capital, while reminding the recipients not to use it for unnecessary purchases, such as purchasing a cell phone.

The Head of State also distributed similar assistance to street vendors and market sellers.

A number of sellers who received assistance expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided by the President, saying that they will make the most of the assistance. (BPMI/UN) (EST/EP)
