A large amount of investment and high export volumes are keys to Indonesia’s robust economy, President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo has said.

The President made the statement when officiating the shipping of instant coffee brand Kopiko Blanca containers of publicly listed food manufacturer PT Mayora Indah Tbk to the Philippines, in Cikupa, Tangerang, Banten, Monday (18/2).

“I am glad that the export volumes have reached more than 2,000 containers per month. Alhamdulillah, today the total export volume has reached the 250,000th containers,” the President said.

President Jokowi also applauded the employees of Mayora who have worked so passionately that their products could be exported overseas.

“I agree that the products of Mayora are Indonesian original brands and have been exported to more than 100 countries,” the President said.

On that occasion, President Jokowi also had a dialogue with two Mayora employees and one coffee farmer who partnered with the company. (DND/AGG/ES)
