Besides Intan, three other children are also sustaining injuries due to the blast.
Once again, there are no words to express my deepest condolences over the death of Intan. This is beyond the boundary of humanity. These are our children, our infants, the President said after giving a briefing to Military Resort Post Commander (Danrem) and Military District Post Commander (Dandim) from all over Indonesia at the Army School for the High Ranking Officers (Secapa TNI AD) in Bandung, West Java, Tuesday (15/11).
In his remarks, President Jokowi also said that the issue of terrorism is the challenge faced by all countries.
On that occasion, the President also talked about the countrys challenges in the future.
The challenges are especially related to terrorisms, radicalism, poverty, unemployment, and gap, the President said.
President Jokowi also clearly stated those gaps so the TNI can play as many roles as possible.
I also talked about competitiveness, ease of doing business, global economy, global geopolitics condition, so the TNI can make adjustment and anticipate what must be prepared, what has to be planned, and what must be done today and in the future, the President said.
President Jokowi also called on Danrem and Dandim all over Indonesia to together give feelings of safety and calmness to the people.
In the next one and two days, the Government will prepare a big narration so the people can really feel calmness instead of anxiety, the President added. (RMI/JAY/ES)(EP/LW/Naster)
