President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo offered his sincere condolences following the passing of Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms (PANRB) Tjahjo Kumolo.

Innalillahi wainnailaihi rajiun. (Verily, to God we belong and verily, to Him we shall return).  On behalf of myself, my family, the nation, and the state, I would like to express my deepest condolences for the passing of our brother, our friend, Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo, Minister of PANRB on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 11.10 Western Indonesian Time in Jakarta,” President Jokowi said at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Friday (07/01).

President Jokowi remembered the late Tjahjo Kumolo as a calm and simple person. According to the President, Tjahjo Kumolo is also an exemplary figure amd a true nationalist. “He is an exemplary figure and a true nationalist who is full of integrity and loyally devotes himself to society, nation, and state,” he said.

President Jokowi also prayed for the late Tjahjo Kumolo and the bereaved family. “Hopefully, the late Mr. Tjahjo Kumolo be given the best place by His side. May the bereaved family be given patience and heartiness. Ameen,” he stated. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (FI/MMB)
