President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo filled in Annual Tax Return (SPT) of Income Tax (PPh) for Individual Taxpayer 2017 through e-filling at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (26/2) morning.

“Today, I am reporting my annual tax return through e-filling and I have received an e-receipt,” the President said.

According to the President, the enforcement of SPT online facilitates taxpayers to exercise their rights and fulfill their tax obligations.

“It’s simple, no need to go to the tax office, anywhere, anytime. Be it in the morning, afternoon, or evening,” the President added.

Therefore, the President called on all Indonesian citizens to participate to report their SPT within the set deadline.

“Let’s immediately report the Annual Tax Return until 31 March 2018,” the President concluded.

Accompanying the President on the occasion were Director General of Taxation Robert Pakpahan and Head of Small Tax Office (KPP Pratama) Surakarta Eko Budi Setyono. (Bureau of Press, Media, and Information of the Presidential Secretariat/ES) (MUR/MMB/YM/Naster).
