President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo Wednesday (02/14) cast their ballot in the 2024 General Elections at 10 Polling Station in Gambir district, Central Jakarta.

Upon the arrival at 08.45 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, the President and First Lady headed to the registration booth and waited for their turn to make their vote.

Alhamdulillah, the First Lady and I have just voted Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, House of Representatives (DPR), Regional Representatives Council (DPD), and Jakarta Regional Legislative Councils (DPRD Jakarta) member candidates,” the President said.

After voting, President Jokowi expressed hope that the election can be a democratic fiesta for all Indonesian people, while underscoring that the election must be carried out based on the principles of direct, public, free, confidential, honest, and fair.
