President Jokowi, First Lady Interviewed by Child Journalists in Surabaya

After greeting the market vendors and handing over cash assistances to beneficiaries at Pucang Anom market in Surabaya city, East Java province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo Sunday (08/21) were approached by two child journalists, namely Khalifa Fatimah (Ifa) and Rafif Ahmad (Rafif), fifth graders from Muhammadiyah 4 Pucang Surabaya elementary school.

On that occasion, both Ifa and Rafif had an opportunity to interview the President and the First Lady.

Ifa, who wanted to be a game developer, asked President Jokowi a question about what are advantages and disadvantages of being a President.

“One of the advantages is meeting people. If the people are happy, the First Lady and I are also happy. While there are no disadvantages,” President Jokowi answered.

Moreover, Ifa also asked President Jokowi a question about how to become a President.

“(You have to) study hard. Once again, study hard,” the President added.

Meanwhile, Rafif, who wanted to be an author, asked President Jokowi a message to motivate all students in all over Indonesia.

“Study hard and do not forget to pray, do not forget to exercise,” President Jokowi said.
