President Joko”Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi on Saturday (07/02) paid last respects to deceased Minister for State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Tjahjo Kumolo who passed away on Friday (07/01) in Jakarta.

Arriving at Widya Chandra complex at around 07.22 Western Indonesia Time, the President and the First Lady were greeted by Tjahjo’s wife, Erni Guntarti, and their children, namely Rahajeng Widyaswari and Karunia Putri Pari Cendana, and the son-in-law Detri Warmanto.

President Jokowi and Ibu Iriana then talked with the family of the deceased and send prayers.

“Pak Tjahjo was a calm and humble person. He was an exemplary and a true nationalist, full of integrity and loyal to communities, nation and state,” the President said. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RI/LW)
