President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo, on Thursday (06/04) visited Palakka central market, Bone regency, South Sulawesi province.

The President and the First Lady were greeted by traders and local residents. On that occasion, they had a dialogue with traders, asking prices of basic commodities.

The price remains stable now,” a staple food trader named Zubaidah said, adding that she was very happy to meet the President in person.

In the meantime, local residents living in the market area had the opportunity to meet and take selfies with President Jokowi.

“We would say to the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia that we are very proud of you, and we hope that you will always inspire us and help the people,” a local resident named Hasnawati said. (BPMI SETPRES/AIT) (RI/MMB)
