President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Friday (22/2) paid an impromptu visit (known as blusukan) to Pasar Minggu traditional market in South Jakarta.

The President has long been known for the signature blusukan style in the middle of his tight schedule to directly meet the people.

This time, President Jokowi used the opportunity to talk with kiosk tenants who sell various commodities, including fruits, vegetables, meats, and so on. He also purchased a few local fruits and groceries from the market. Afterwards, the President left the market and headed to Pasar Minggu Youth Center to continue his next agenda, namely distributing land certificates for residents in Pasar Minggu area.
