On the sidelines of his working visit in Central Java province, President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo paid a blusukan (impromptu visit) to Pelem Gading Traditional Market, Cilacap, Monday (25/2).

On his arrival at the market, the locals gathered and welcomed the President. Then, the President granted some locals to take a photo with him.

In the market, President Jokowi bought staples such as rice, tempeh, tofu, and mung bean sprouts. Afterwards, the President left the market and headed to Patra Ria Pertamina Building to continue his agenda, namely the Distribution of the Family Hope Program (PKH) to Cilacap Regency residents and the surrounding areas.

For the record, President Jokowi has long been known for the signature ‘blusukan’ style in the middle of his tight schedule to directly meet the people. (BPMI/FID/EN)
