President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Thursday (10/20) visited Muntok market in West Bangka regency, Bangka Belitung Islands province.

Arriving at the market, President Jokowi immediately greeted the beneficiaries of Family Hope Program (PKH) and handed over a working capital assistance of Rp1.2 million. The President also asked the beneficiaries whether they had received fuel oil cash assistance.

“The first one is Rp300,000. You will receive another Rp300,000 at the end of November or early December,” the President said.

The President went on to say that the social assistance could be increased if there is surplus in the Government’s State Budget.

In addition to handing over the assistance for PKH beneficiaries, the President also handed over cash assistance to traders. The President also talked to the traders while walking around the market. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (RI/MMB)
