President Jokowi Hands Over Working Capital Assistance to 65 Recipients
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo handed over Working Capital Assistance (BMK) to 65 recipients at the Bogor Presidential Palace Courtyard, West Java Province, Friday (24/7).
On the occasion, President Jokowi stated that the current economic situation is not easy. “This because the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the economy, but not only you who are affected,” the President said.
According to the President, many entrepreneurs including micro, small, medium, and large entrepreneurs were also affected.
“This did not just happen to our country, Indonesia; 215 countries were all affected with similar conditions. In fact, many experiences worse than us,” the President said.
The President acknowledged that under the current circumstances, the turnover drops drastically due to the decrease in demand. However, he stated that according to the data, sinceJune it has gradually increased.
“God willing, that in July, August, it will also rise even higher. So that soon, we will be in a normal position again, so that your turnover can also back to normal,” the President stated. (FID/EN)
