President Jokowi accompanied by Vice President Jusuf Kalla met with Leaders of State Institution, in Bogor, on Wednesday (4/8).

President Joko Widodo accompanied by Vice President Jusuf Kalla held a meeting with Leaders of State  Institution, in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (4/8).

The meeting attended by Chairman of the Assembly Zulkifli Hasan, Chairman of the House of Representatives Novanto, Chairman of DPD Irman Gusman, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Arief Hidayat, Chairman of the Judicial Commission Supaman, and Chairman of the Audit Board Herry Azhar.

The meeting of President with the Leader of the State Institutions held closed. However, it is probable the agenda is to discuss the phenomenon of the emergence of a pair of candidates or a single candidate in the registration of local elections in some regions.

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security, Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno said the government’s decision related to a single candidate election still should be consulted with other institutions, namely the Parliament, MPR, other relevant agencies also with representatives of political parties, which is planned, will be held at the presidential palace in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (5/8).

“Therefore, please be patient because it still should be consulted,” said Tejo told Reporters after a closed meeting at the President’s office, Jakarta, Tuesday (4/8). (UN/GUN/ES)
