President Jokowi Highlights Importance of Prioritizing Children Education

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo highlighted the importance of prioritizing education in schools for Indonesian children. The President stated that both central and regional governments must ensure that all children get this opportunity.

“Our children must be given the widest possible opportunity to have a proper and highest education,” the President said after the inauguration of the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road at the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Gate, Bengkulu city, Bengkulu province, on Thursday (07/20).

In relation to several problems in the 2023 admission of new students (PPDB), the President stated that such problems occur in all regions and he urged all regions to solve these problems properly.

“Problems always happen on the ground in all cities, regencies, and provinces, but the most important thing is to solve them properly, with proper manners,” the President said. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (FI/LW)
