President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (11/15) held Welcoming Dinner & Cultural Performance G20 Indonesia at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, Bali.

“Leaders of G20 countries, invitees, international organization, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your presence here at Garuda Wisnu Kencana,” President Jokowi said.

In his speech, the President explained the meaning of Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue to the guests.

“In Balinese mythology, this statue depicts love, responsibility, courage, and devotion. These are our duties to the world and humanity,” he added.

Concluding his speech, President Jokowi invited the guests to enjoy the dishes.

“Please enjoy the dishes that we had prepared for you. I hope they are not too spicy for Your Excellencies,” the President remarked. (TGH/UN) (GWH/MMB)
