President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo directly distributed Land Certificates to resident in Cirebon Regency and the surroundings.

President Jokowi went on to say that the distribution of land certificate is important to avoid more land dispute.

“Every time I visit the region, I always got complaints regarding land dispute, be it among the people, between the people and Government, state-owned enterprises, neighbors or among families.” the President said.

The President also said that land certificate must be distributed to people and every year, only about 500 thousand land certificate are distributed.

“Please store it inside a plastic bag, so if your house has a leak roof, the certificate won’t get damaged. Get it copied, too,” the President continued.

President Jokowi also hopes the people will think it over if they decide to use it as collateral to then bank. “Don’t be compulsive. Make sure you calculate it first,” the President concluded.
