We will see. In Indonesia, we have more or less 5,000 locations for the projects implemented by Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. There are similar projects done by Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of State Owned Enterprise. We hope all of them will join this Padat Karya Tunai program. the President said.
President Jokowi further said that there are 43 locations in Cirebon Regency where the program is implemented and hopes the program will bring positive impact for the prosperity of the people there.
The most important thing is that the program will improve the purchasing power of people in villages and regions so the consumption rate will increase accordingly. President explained.
Joining the President during the visit were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman Hakim Saifuddin and West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan. (BPMI/EN) (RI/EP/Naster)
