President Jokowi walks on the newly inaugurated suspension bridges, Krinjing and Mangunsuko, on Monday (18/9), in Dukun Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, Central Java

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Monday (18/9) inaugurated the Krinjing and Mangunsuko suspension bridges to conclude his working visit in Magelang, Central Java.

Also on that occasion, the President symbolically inaugurated 3 (three) low-cost apartment buildings (rusun) for Low-Income Housing (MBR) located in Tanggulrejo, Gunungpring, and Gulon Villages, Magelang respectively. After the inauguration, President Jokowi headed to inspect the new bridges.

For the record, the Mangunsuko suspension bridge connects Grogol Hamlet in Mangunsuko Village and Tutup Hamlet in Sumber Village. Meanwhile, the Krinjing suspension bridge connects Jombong Hamlet in Paten Village and Gandelan Hamlet in Krinjing Village.

Accompanying President Jokowi in the event were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo. (UN/ES) (RAS/MUR/YM/Naster)
