President Jokowi Inaugurates BPIP Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (06/07) at the State Palace inaugurated Yudian Wahyudi and Karjono as Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Pancasila Ideology Fostering Agency (BPIP) for the 2022 – 2027 period.
The President also inaugurated the Steering Committee of the BPIP for the 2022-2027 period.
The inauguration was conducted based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 56/P of 2022 on the Termination and Appointment of Offices of the Steering Committee, Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Pancasila Ideology Fostering Agency stipulated on 6 June 2022.
The Steering Committee of BPIP inaugurated were as follows:
- Megawati Soekarnoputri as Chairperson of the BPIP;
2. Try Sutrisno as Head Chairperson of the BPIP;
3. Wisnu Bawa Tenaya as Secretary;
4. Said Aqil Siradj as member of the BPIP;
5. Sudhamek Agoeng Waspodo Soenjoto as member of the BPIP;
6. Andreas Anangguru Yewangoe as member of the BPIP;
7. Rikard Bagun as member of the BPIP, and
8. Muhammad Amin Abdullah as member of the BPIP.
“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully appreciate and practice Pancasila ideology in performing my daily tasks and life,” President Jokowi said when leading the Steering Committee, Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the BPIP to take their oaths.
Also attending the inauguration were Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung. (TGH/UN) (AW/EP)
