President Jokowi Inaugurates Dian Ediana Rae As New PPATK Head

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (6/5) at the State Palace, Central Jakarta inaugurated Dian Ediana Rae as the new Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).

The inauguration ceremony begun with singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya”. Afterwards, State Secretariat secretary Setya Utama recited Presidential Decree Number 37/M of 2020 on the dismissal and appointment of the Head and Deputy Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center.

Dian Ediana Rae then recited the oath of office before President Jokowi and signed the minutes of the inauguration witnessed by the President.

After the ceremony finished, President Jokowi and other guests congratulated the newly-inaugurated Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center.

For the record, Dian Ediana Rae replaced the PPATK late-chairman Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin, who passed away on 14 March 2020. He will lead the agency until the end of his predecessor’s term in 2021. (TGH / EN)
