President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (09/07) at the State Palace, Jakarta, inaugurated five members of the Election Organization Ethics Council (DKPP) for the period of 2022-2027.
The inauguration was based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82/P of 2022 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Election Organization Ethics Council from Community Figures. The Decree was stipulated on July 22, 2022.
The five members of the DKPP from the elements of community figures are as follows:
- I Dewa Kade Wiarsa Raka Sandi;
2. Ratna Dewi Pettalolo;
3. Muhammad Tio Aliansyah;
4. Heddy Lugito; and
5. J. Kristiadi.
“In performing my duties and authorities, I will work in the fairest way possible, I will uphold honesty, and work carefully for the success of legislative elections for members of the House of Representatives (DPR), Regional Representative Council (DPD), the elections of President and Vice President, members of Regional Legislative Councils (DPRD). I will uphold democracy and justice, and prioritize the interests of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia over personal or group interests,” the President said, dictating the oath to the candidates for DKPP members.
