President Jokowi Inaugurates Governor of National Resilience Institute, Head of National Food Agency

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Monday (2/21) inaugurated Andi Widjajanto as Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas) and Arief Prasetyo Adi as Head of the National Food Agency (BPN) at the State Palace in Jakarta.
The inauguration of Andi Widjajanto was based on the Presidential Decree Number 21/P of 2022 on the Inauguration of Governor of the National Resilience Institute on the Republic of Indonesia while the inauguration of Arief Prasetyo Adi was based on the Presidential Decree Number 7/M of 2022 on the inauguration of Head of the National Food Agency. The two decrees were signed by the President on February, 21, 2022.
Governor of the National Resilience Institute and Head of the National Food Agency took an oath before the President, “I do swear to uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and be in compliance with all laws and regulations to dedicate myself to the nation and country. I do swear to uphold work ethic, work as well as possible, uphold work responsibility in carrying out my duties.”
For the record, Andi Widjajanto replaced Governor of the National Resilience Institute after Agus Widjojo. Andi also has served as Cabinet Secretary at the beginning of President Jokowi’s administration. Meanwhile, Arief Prasetyo Adi previously served as President Director of food manufacturer PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI).
The ceremony ended with congratulatory messages from President Jokowi and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin as well as the invitees.
Accompanying the President and the Vice President at the ceremony were Coordinating Minister for Politic, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
