President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo inaugurated the National Axis Ceremony Plaza in the Nusantara Capital (IKN) area, East Kalimantan province, on Wednesday (08/14). The President stated that, alongside the development of basic infrastructure, additional supporting facilities have been constructed to refine the distinctiveness of the Nusantara Capital.

“This project includes the construction of the Ceremony Plaza, pedestrian paths, bicycle lanes, shared streets, visitor centers, amphitheaters, MSME galleries, and forest trails,” said the President.

The Head of State also emphasized that the development of the National Axis Ceremony Plaza embodies the real concept of harmony of human relationship with God, nature, and each other.

“I hope the National Axis, which is built based on the philosophy of the noble relationship among God, humans, and nature, will make Nusantara Capital a harmonious, comfortable, and peaceful city,” he concluded. (KS/DNS) (AY/MUR)
