President Jokowi Inaugurates Johanis Tanak as Deputy Chair of KPK

President Jokowi inaugurates the new deputy chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Johanis Tanak, at the State Palace in Jakarta, Friday (10/28) (Photo by: PR of Cabinet Secretariat/Jay).

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Friday (10/28) inaugurated Johanis Tanak as Deputy Chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for 2019-2023 period.

The inauguration was based on Presidential Decree Number 103/P of 2022. Through the inauguration, Johanis replaced former Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Pantauli Siregar who  resigned last July.

“I do solemnly swear that I will deny or will not receive any interference or will maintain integrity. I will uphold the work ethics in fulfilling my duties and carrying out my authority as regulated in law,” the newly-inaugurated Deputy Chairperson of the KPK took his oath.

Also joining the President during the inauguration were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and Chairperson of the KPK Firli Bahuri. (DND/UN) (AP/LW)
