President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Monday (04/03) at the State Palace, Jakarta, inaugurated Commissioner General Rycko Amelza Dahniel as Head of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT).

The inauguration was held based on Presidential Decree Number 51/TPA of 2023 on the Dismissal from and Appointment to Main High Leadership Position in the National Counterterrorism Agency.

“In the name of Allah, I do solemnly swear that I will be faithful to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will enforce the laws and regulations as truthful as possible for the sake of my devotion to the nation and the state. That in fulfilling my duties, I will uphold the work ethics in the best possible way with a full sense of responsibility,” Rycko said during oath-taking ceremony.

For the record, Rycko was appointed by President Jokowi to replace former Head of the BNPT Boy Rafli Amar, who has reached his retirement age. (TGH/UN) (RIF/MMB)
