President Jokowi Inaugurates New Member of Deposit Insurance Corporation Board Commissioners

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo inaugurated Aida Suwandi Budiman as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) for the 2020-2025 term at the State Palace, Wednesday (09/11).

The appointment is based on Presidential Decree Number 101/P Number 2024 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation. This Decree was stipulated in Jakarta on September 10, 2024 by President Jokowi.

Deputy for Apparatus Administration of Ministry of State Secretariat Nanik Purwanti recited the Decree during the ceremony.

Afterward, Aida Suwandi took the oath of office before the President.

“In the name of Allah, I do solemnly swear that I, as a Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation, will neither directly nor indirectly, in any name or pretext, grant or promise anything to anyone. I swear that I, in doing or not doing anything in this position, will not directly or indirectly receive from anyone any promise or gift in any form,” Aida recited.

“I swear that I will carry out my duties and obligations as a Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation to the best of my ability and with full responsibility based on the laws and regulations related to such duties and obligations. I swear that I will be loyal to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia,” she added. (TGH/DNS) (EST/MUR)
