President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo inaugurated the newly-renovated Malalayang and Bunaken beach areas, Friday (01/20) during his working visit in Manado city.

The President called on the people of North Sulawesi province, especially Manado city, to maintain the cleanliness of the area.

“The renovation project in Malalayang and Bunaken Beach areas is almost finished. I hope that people in Manado in particular and North Sulawesi in general, will help maintain cleanliness along the Malalayang Beach,” said the President.

He explained that the budget allocated for the project reached Rp96 billion and the renovation project will continue in other areas for the sake of the progress of Manado city. (TGH/UN) (EST/MMB)
