President Jokowi Inaugurates Ridwan Mansyur as Constitutional Court Judge

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Friday (12/08) at the State Palace, Jakarta inaugurated Ridwan Mansyur as Constitutional Court Judge.

Ridwan was inaugurated based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 98/P of 2023 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Constitutional Judges proposed by the Supreme Court.

The Presidential Decree issued by President Jokowi in Jakarta on October 12, 2023 was read out by the Deputy for State Apparatus Administration of Ministry of State Secretariat Nanik Purwanti.

After the signing of the Presidential Decree, the oath of office was administered in the presence of President Jokowi.

“I do solemnly swear that I will fulfill the duties of Constitutional Judge to the best of my capabilities and in the fairest way possible, to uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and to execute all laws and regulations in accordance with the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as to dedicate myself to the service of the nation and the people,” said Ridwan.The event then continued with the signing of the minutes by President Jokowi and Ridwan Mansyur and ended with President Jokowi giving congratulations to the invited guests.Also present at this event were Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma’ruf Amin, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian, and Attorney General St. Burhanuddin.
