President Jokowi Inaugurates Special Envoy for Poverty Alleviation

After inaugurating Guntur Hamzah as a Constitutional Justice, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (11/23) at the State Palace, Jakarta, inaugurated Muhamad Mardiono as Presidential Special Envoy for Poverty Alleviation and Food Security Cooperation.

The inauguration was carried out based on Decree of President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 48/M/2022 on Appointment of Presidential Special Envoy for Poverty Alleviation and Food Security Cooperation.

During the ceremony, Deputy for Apparatus Administrative Affairs of Ministry of State Secretariat Nanik Purwanti read the Decree.

“[The President] appoints Mohamad Mardiono as Presidential Special Envoy for Poverty Alleviation and Food Security Cooperation. The appointee is eligible for the salary and other facilities in accordance with provisions of laws and regulations,” the Decree reads.

After the reading of the Presidential Decree, the appointee took the oath of office. At the end of ceremony, President Jokowi and other participants congratulated the new inaugurated official. (MAY/AIT/ST) (RI/EP)
