President Jokowi Inspects Door-to-Door Vaccination Program in Cirebon

To kick off his working visit in West Java province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (08/31) inspected door-to-door COVID-19 vaccination targeting 500 people in Pengampaan village, Harjamukti sub-district, Cirebon city.

“Today I am in Pengampaan village, Cirebon city, West Java province, where we carry out door-to-door vaccination. It is done to speed up services for the people in terms of vaccination,” he said in a press statement after the inspection.

On that occasion, the President expressed appreciation to the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) that has been working hard to make the door-to-door vaccination successful and to the Mayor of Cirebon and Governor of West Java for their support of this program.

“I highly appreciate BIN’s hard work in this door-to-door vaccination. Let me also thank the Mayor, the Governor who have given full support of the program today,” he said, while also expressing gratitude that the current pandemic management has become better.

“Thank God, for all of our hard work, the situation in the COVID-19 pandemic improves each day, including BOR and the [number of] daily cases,” he said.

To maintain the improving momentum, the Head of State also urged the people to remain disciplined in observing health protocols and to get vaccinated immediately.

“I urge the people to continue to observe health protocols with discipline. And second, to immediately participate in the Government’s vaccination program,” he remarked. (TGH/UN) (DH/EP)
