President Jokowi Inspects G20 Summit Readiness in Bali

In a bid to ensure the readiness of the G20 Summit in Bali next week, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Monday (11/07) leave for Bali island from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta using Presidential Aircraft.

Upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, President Jokowi and Ibu Iriana were received by official welcome for G20 leaders.

The President and spouse were welcomed by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno L. P. Marsudi, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Chief of the Indonesian National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Coordinator of Supporting Unit for G20 Summit Wishnutama Kusubandio, Chief of State Protocol Andy Rachmianto, and Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster.

Afterwards, President Jokowi inspected airport VIP room which will be used by G20 leaders once they arrive in Bali. The President then headed to the hotel to spend the night to continue his activities the next day.

Today (11/08), the Head of State is slated to inspect readiness of several G20 Summit venues and facilities.
